| Four weekend accidents on Tuolumne County roads sent six people to area hospitols with moderate and major injuries. bla...bla...Brightman Flat - William Chirrick, 26, of Turlock, suffered major injuries in a collision Sunday afternoon on Highway 108 at the Brightman Flat Campground. He was traveling east on Highway 108 about 4:40 p.m., riding a 1997 Honda motorcycle, when a motor home driven by Glen Jones, 73, of Lodi, started a left turn into the campground and into his path. Chirrick, who was wearing a helmet, was flown by helicopter to Memorial North Hospital with leg and arm injuries. He is in good condition there this morning. Jones, who was wearing a lap belt, was uninjured. The motor home had moderate damage to it's right side and the motorcycle was destroyed. |
