Roadtrip to Pikes Peak, Colorado: September 14 - 30, 1999
| After getting my new bike it was time to go on a roadtrip with Don and Franz to Pikes Peak for the last AMA race weekend of the year. We took the long way there and saw Yellowstone, Grand Teton National Park, Mt. Rushmore, and Crazy Horse. Unfortunately Franz had to fly home after he plowed into the back of a truck that stopped in the middle of the road for a duck to cross. Other then that and a little cold weather the trip was great. |
